I co-founded Paulin Watches in 2014, initially using spare evenings and weekends to help get the company off the ground. In creating packaging for Paulin's wall clocks I was keen to create something simple and environmentally friendly, an approach which I hoped would resonate well with Paulin's customer base.

The finished design negates the need for single use materials in a number of ways. The fabric handle means that carrier bags are unnecessary for in-store purchases, whilst the use of corrugated board means a separate outer shipping box is not required for online orders. By printing instructions on the back of the box, a user guide or booklet within is also not required. The design is 100% plastic-free and uses screen-printed, water-based inks.
