I founded Frame Cycles with the idea of creating a range of beautiful and sustainable cycling components and accessories. It was my ambition to create a company with a genuinely ethical outlook, where the produts through both manufacturing process and end use would make a positive impact on people and the planet.

I created the first prototype of the FR-1 Bike Saddle in 2019 using machined cork and 3D printed titanium. After riding it daily for two years and it withstanding the Glasgow weather I decided that it was ready to unveil to the general public.

Since the launch of our debut product in 2023, Frame Cycles has been featured in publications including Cyclist Magazine, Designboom, Yanko Design, Bike Radar and others.

The FR-1 Bike Saddle is now stocked in selected independent retailers including Circles Japan and was nominated for the 2024 Green Product Award.
